Almost forming out of sheer luck 🍀,

Pilgrims blend their classical training with Irish folk roots fast enough for any pub. They prove you don’t necessarily have to be Irish to understand and celebrate the culture. They are in this for the right reason….fun. Erin go braugh

The Pilgrims of Deep Run were one of our favorite guests. Their personality and attitude completely clicked with us, and their talent and in-depth knowledge of music opened our eyes to a genre that doesn't get talked about nearly enough. We're excited to see what they do next and would love to have them back on the show again.

Beautifully blended vocals, foot- stomping rhythms, some of the best spoon- playing you'll ever see.. The Pilgrims of Deep Run absolutely rock. They take ancient, traditional Celtic tunes and play with such high- energy joy, it leaves the listener breathless, hands tingling from clapping along. "Like being back in Ireland at the pub!" You can almost smell the peat in the air as these talented musicians take you on a magical journey across the pond to the very roots of Irish folk music with songs that pull at your soul from tin whistle to fiddle... an amazing experience by very gifted artists who love their craft and share it well.

How much we loved the Pilgrim’s Music for our Wedding

We were totally thrilled with the Pilgrim’s music at our recent wedding celebration. They took the time to meet with us beforehand — several times — to discuss exactly what kind of music we would like and how it would all roll out. They even learned a few new songs to play for the beginning and end of the ceremony itself. So beautiful!! Many of our guests mentioned to us how much they loved the music, which seemed to play on and on throughout the reception. The Pilgrim’s wonderful and generous musical performance infused a spirit of joy and gaiety into this special day.

The PoDR were a pleasure to host, both musically and professionally. They put on an engaging, fun, and beautiful show, and kindly assisted with both logistics and advertising. We’d happily have them back anytime.

The Pilgrims of Deep Run were a hit at Rhizome -- drawing on the traditional while sounding fresh and in the moment. You had five skilled musicians locking in with fine detail, infusing the songs with a sense of joy and revelry. I look forward to the Pilgrims returning to Rhizome.

The Pilgrims of Deep Run absolutely rocked the New Deal Café. Patrons were repeatedly saying "This is the best Irish band we've ever had!" and "When will they be back?" Every player was clearly having fun on stage, and even better than their high energy performance was their musicianship, beautifully playing traditional Irish music with ease and poise. We cannot WAIT to hear them again!
