The Pilgrims of Deep Run are a Baltimore-based Irish band that bring both pub songs and traditional dance music to the stage. Inspired by legends like The Irish Rovers, The New Barleycorn, and The Dubliners, their shows capture the joy, humor, and camaraderie of a true session. With members trading off on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, bodhran, bouzouki, Irish whistle, and voice. The Pilgrims deliver vibrant, high-energy arrangements that celebrate the richness of Irish heritage music for you to laugh, dance, sing, and drink to.

The Pilgrims of Deep Run played at our wedding on Saturday, October 12th. It was a renaissance faire themed wedding and honestly, we could not have made that theme work without them there. They kept the energy going all night, including leading us all in some amazing dancing at the end! There's something so unique, and even timeless about the way PoDR plays. The group melds so many wonderful melodies, sounds, and rhythms into a joyful noise that you cannot resist moving to the gift of their music. Beautifully blended vocals, foot- stomping rhythms, some of the best spoon- playing you'll ever see.. The Pilgrims of Deep Run absolutely rock. They take ancient, traditional Celtic tunes and play with such high- energy joy, it leaves the listener breathless, hands tingling from clapping along. "Like being back in Ireland at the pub!" How much we loved the Pilgrim’s Music for our Wedding

We were totally thrilled with the Pilgrim’s music at our recent wedding celebration. They took the time to meet with us beforehand — several times — to discuss exactly what kind of music we would like and how it would all roll out. They even learned a few new songs to play for the beginning and end of the ceremony itself. So beautiful!! Many of our guests mentioned to us how much they loved the music, which seemed to play on and on throughout the reception. The Pilgrim’s wonderful and generous musical performance infused a spirit of joy and gaiety into this special day.
